Sunday, September 19: Best Friends Animal Society "Strut Your Mutt" Charity Walk
8:30am-1pm, Santa Monica Pier, 1550 Pacific Coast Hwy, Santa Monica. Join GreySave as we partner with the Best Friends Animal Society in a leisurely, scenic morning walk to raise money. "Afterwards, stay and enjoy a doggie-themed festival for pets and their people that includes free massages and pampering for your pooches, training demonstrations, doggie yoga, the hottest products and accessories, free treats, music, food, contests and much more!" (from the Best Friends website).

To walk with GreySave's hounds, go to the Strut Your Mutt webpage and click on the "Register for LA" button. Follow the registration instructions. When asked on the second page to which "dog pack" you want to join, go to the Network Charities section on the drop down menu (lower portion of the list) and select GreySave. Be sure to join this pack, since this is the only one that will share donations with GreySave. Once you are registered as a walker you can ask your non-walking friends or family to sponsor you and your hounds as a way to raise funds. GreySave will get any money donated to us and our walkers minus our share of Best Friends' expenses. At least 50,000 dogs were part of a recent, similar Best Friends event in Salt Lake City.
